Happy New Year 2020 everyone! I hope you all had a great new years. I spent my new year planning my resolutions and my wishlist. I love to have my wishlist planned out at the beginning of the year so I can try to stick to what I plan to buy. While I somewhat stuck to my wishlist last year, I did get some things that I had been wanting for a while or got some stuff on the spot. For the new year, I am trying to stick mostly to my wishlist and add or remove as the year goes on.
Handbags:
Louis Vuitton Alma BB Bag in Damier Ebene:
I love how cute this bag is. It has been off and on my wishlist a few times, and I finally think it is something I am going to get this year. It is a classic bag so there is no worrying of it going out of style. It is a great bag for daytime and can also be used as an evening bag as well.
Jewelry:
Cartier Love Necklace in Yellow Gold:
It took me a while to decide which necklace I wanted once I knew I wanted to buy a necklace to layer with the gold chain I wear everyday. I settled on this necklace because I feel it goes the best with what I am looking for in a necklace. I was going to get the Van Cleef Arpels Mother of Pearl Alhambra necklace, but the Cartier is less maintenance. I also love that it matches my Love ring.
Leather Goods:
Louis Vuitton Monogram Planner in Large
I know this was on my list last year and I never got to it. So I am hoping to add it this year finally. It has been something I have been wanting for years, but I always end up getting something else.
Louis Vuitton Passport Cover in Monogram
This is also another item I feel like I have always wanted but never got. It is great because I am always traveling, and this will help me know which passport I need to take out (Because I have multiple passports for different visas).
Shoes:
Dior Jadior Shoes in Nude Patent Leather
This is also something that transferred over from last year's list. I was getting them at some point during 2019, but they did not have it in my size so I didn't end up getting it. This year I definitely want to add them to my shoe collection.
Gucci Princetown Leather Slippers in Light Pink
I have been eyeing these for over a year, and I think this is finally something I want to add to my collection. It is still a debate between this color and the black. I like that they would match my belts so that is one reason I am debating the colors. I think it is a great casual pair of shoes to have.
Clothing:
Balenciaga AllOver Logo CrewNeck Beige
I have been loving the logo trend, and I think this sweater is the cutest. It is a neutral color so it will go with everything, and is perfect for the fall and winter. My backup color if this one is sold out is the gray, as I want to stick to getting a neutral color.
Balmain T-shirt in White:
I think this shirt is a cute staple to have. It can be worn casually or dressed up with a cute blazer. I definitely want to add more everyday pieces to my collection.
I think it is important to make a wishlist as it helps you plan what you would like to buy for the year. It also helps you narrow down what you would want to buy first based of availability or if you want to use a piece for a specific event (like a trip or for a party). It also helps me not to overspend and buy things that I may not want and helps me keep on track for purchases I have been wanting for a while.
