Its been so exciting having my best friends came to visit me in San Francisco. I hadn't had the chance to explore the SF until now, so excited to finally write this blog post. Here are the sights you need to check out while you are in San Francisco!

Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the standard sights to see when you visit San Francisco. It is is beautiful up close. It was easy to find by looking up Warming Hut and finding the directions towards there. The views of the bridge are beautiful from there, and it is the perfect place to have a picnic or just walk around. There are a lot of different picture locations to take pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Union Square

Union Square is in the heart of Downtown San Francisco. It is a beautiful area to walk around, shop and eat. Our hotel was located in Union Square and was walking distance from all of the most amazing stores. Some of the stores I checked out while I was there was Dior, Cartier, Van Cleef Arpels, Hermes and Chanel. Also, some of the restaurants I would try in the area are Hakkasan and the Rotunda at Neiman Marcus.

Muir Beach

This is such a pretty beach to visit! The drive is beautiful as you drive on the Golden Gate bridge and up and down some mountains (a little stressful if you have never driven on mountains). It is so beautiful to see the beaches, the serene water and the mountains in one view. It was very peaceful to visit, and was also pretty cold when we went (April). You can also check out the Muir Overpass which had the most beautiful views. It is definitely worth checking out.

Golden State Park

I definitely would recommend going to the Japanese Tea Garden to have some tea and enjoy the beautiful flowers around. It has a little hut to get different types of tea which was really nice. Definitely plan to go on a weekday so it isn't as packed. There is a lot of stuff to do in Golden State Park. There is also the Conservatory of Flowers which is beautiful to experience. They show different habitats and the plant life that grows in them.

Fisherman's Wharf

This is a great place to walk around and have some amazing sea food. There are a lot of different shops to explore. You can also check out the Original Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop at Ghirardelli Square. We had the Fog Harbor which was delicious (See full review on the Exploring the San Francisco Food Scene post).

Painted Ladies

The Painted Ladies are these beautiful houses located in the heart of San Francisco. It is famous for being in shows like Full House. There is a beautiful park that you can sit in front and hang out in. It is a beautiful area to have a picnic at Alamo Square Park.

San Francisco is a beautiful city with lots to do and a rich, beautiful history. There will definitely be a part 2 to this post as I explore more of the city and hopefully find some hidden gems.
