December is the perfect time of the year to go to Miami! The weather is just perfect, it's the perfect temperature with a slight breeze. I stayed at the Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami and it was really nice! The service was nice and we loved the pool area/bar. It was a really cute place to hang out. I did make the mistake of thinking it was Ocean front when I saw ocean view on the website (tiny, overlooked mistakes). Other than expecting our hotel to be on the beach, it was really nice. We did get a view of the ocean and the area around, and had views to a beautiful sunset every night we were there.

Staying at the hotel also gave us access to the beach through Loews resort, and also access to Exhale Spa and Fitness Center.
Just like any big city, Miami has some amazing places to eat! I tried this amazing Italian restaurant called Sette Osteria in Wynwood, and it was such a cute place to eat! The food was very good and the service was good!

A great place to get mojitos is at the Miami Mojito Company at Wynwood. It is right across the Wynwood Walls, and is kind of hidden. You need to be 21 years and older to sit there, let alone order a drink. They check your ID before you sit. I had the Mango Mojito, while my friends had the Coconut Mojito and Virgin Mojito. One of the best mojitos I have had.
Some of the best sushi I have ever had was at Doraku Miami. It is on Lincoln Rd, in the same plaza as Ladurée Miami Beach. I had the Spicy Lobster Roll, Chicken Wings and the Big Wave Roll. The food was amazing, especially the Spicy Lobster Roll. If you are looking for a good sushi in Miami Beach, this is definitely a place to try.
Ladurée is always a place I visit when I go to a city that has one. I usually go to the one in Miami Beach, on Lincoln Mall Road. I have honestly had bad experiences every time I have gone. They never have milk, or their coffee machine is broken, as I wanted to get a Rose Latte twice on this trip. The macaroons were good but became very sticky, very fast. While I love Ladurée, this is one of their worst locations I have been to.
I usually get a big box of macaroons as there isn't a Ladurée near me, so I try to get some to take home with me! I finished this whole box within 2 days myself because I couldn't stop at 1 macaroon!
Overall, I enjoy going to Miami because of the culture, the amazing places to eat, and the shopping of course! There is so much in Miami to do! I usually plan a list of places I want to go, and look up restaurants in the area in advance so I have an idea of the types of cuisines in the area, and then choose when we get there depending on what we are in the mood to eat.
