5 Ways to Style A Twilly/Mitzah

Mitzahs or Twillys (different companies call it different names) are great accessories to have to style to add something different when you are styling your outfit or your bag. Some of my favorites are from Dior and Hermes, but many luxury companies have them. Here are some of my favorite ways to style your twilly.

1. Bow

A great way to wear a mitzah is as a bow in your hair. It adds a beautiful and feminine touch to your outfit. I like to add this style to a half up-half down hairstyle or when my hair is in a ponytail. I recommend using some bobby pins to hold it in place and to make sure that the bow does not move around. Be careful not to put the pin through the scarf as you do not want to ruin the scarf. This is one of my favorite ways to wear.

2. Bracelet wrap

This is a cute way to wear a mitzah if you are like me and love your arm candy! It is a great way to accessorize when you don't have a bracelet to match an outfit or you want to create a whole different look.

3. Headband

This is one of my favorite ways to style a mitzah. It adds a pop of color to your outfit. It is also a great way to keep your hair out of your face on a summery day. You can add some loose curls to your hair for the best look.

4. Scarf

This is the classic way to wear a twilly. It can dress up any outfit by adding a dimension to your outfit. I usually love to get colors that pop and wear them with solid color blouses. You can either use it by itself, or get a scarf ring to use with it. I personally love this scarf ring from Hermes to wear with twillys.

5. Bag

I love dressing up bags with different scarves. I feel like it adds something different to the bag. You can give your bag a different look with different scarves and how you tie it. I personally love tying them around the handle, or on the chain (but tightly so it doesn't move around too much).

Twilly scarves can be worn with a casual or formal look which is what makes them great accessories. Comment below on your favorite way to style your mitzah or twilly and share your purchases and styles by tagging me on Instagram at @atouchoflipstick.
